In Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro Oblast, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with community leaders from the Nikopol, Synelnykivka and Kryvyi Rih districts.
The meeting was also attended by Oleksiy Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine.

“Today, the President held a meeting with those communities that are under fire every day, under enemy attacks. Despite this, they are restoring housing, providing basic services, and helping the army. I am grateful to all those who are holding the line and are with the people every day,” Oleksiy Kuleba said.
During the meeting, the President of Ukraine discussed with community leaders the priority steps to protect citizens and support communities. Among the decisions:
- Today, the Government has allocated UAH 1.5 billion of additional subsidies for frontline communities and regions that need it most. Dnipropetrovska oblast will receive UAH 42 million.
- Next week, the Government will decide on additional funding for frontline communities and communities bordering Russia. About UAH 10 million will be allocated to each, depending on the population. This is not a one-time assistance, but regular monthly support to address urgent needs: shelter, transport, communications, and the most necessary things to protect life.
- Another 540 million hryvnias will be allocated to strengthen electronic warfare systems. This is a direct enhancement of people’s security.

The participants also discussed key projects being implemented in Dnipropetrovs’k region, in particular, together with the Ministry of Development:
- Construction of a water supply system in Pidhorodne – 10.7 km of new networks that will provide centralised water supply for almost 20,000 people, institutions and businesses for the first time.
- We are building municipal housing for internally displaced people in Dnipro and Sofiyivka.
- In Zelenodolsk, we are installing four modular gas boilers to provide heat to 12,000 residents. In Zhovti Vody, we are preparing to launch a 250 MW gas turbine plant.
- Reconstruction of the main building of Kryvyi Rih City Hospital No. 2. After the renovation, the medical facility will be able to receive up to 300 visitors a day, have 12 operating theatres, modern infrastructure and full accessibility for people with limited mobility.

These are concrete steps to strengthen energy independence, social stability and basic services that the state must guarantee even under fire,’ said Oleksiy Kuleba.
