The Ministry of Social Policy has approved methodological guidelines for the development and monitoring of regional and local programs aimed at supporting IDPs.
The goal is to move from ad hoc solutions to systematic support for IDPs, taking into account the specific challenges people face in each community.
Before developing a program, communities are advised to:
- assess the needs of IDPs and their level of adaptation and integration;
- take into account existing support programs;
- involve the IDP council in the process to incorporate the experiences and perspectives of the IDPs themselves.
This approach will help communities better understand what kind of support people need and direct resources where they are truly needed.
